Services |
In our About Us section, you can read a message from our Headteacher and take a virtual tour of the school. On our News page, the site provides children and their parents with news on recent and forthcoming events in our online newsletter, which is updated regularly. Our Links section provides links to other websites that offer games, activities and quizzes to support your child's education. All the sites are chosen carefully by qualified teachers and are guaranteed to be 'child-friendly'. In addition to this service, in our Resources section, we supply parents with various documents. Currently, our ICT development plan and our 2000 Ofsted report is provided. The site also provides links to informative websites, offering advice to parents wishing to know more about supporting their child's education. These sites are chosen carefully to ensure they do not use 'teachers professional jargon' and offer guidance that reflects our school ethos.

Child Safety |
It is the policy of st-john-and-st-francis.co.uk to use photographs of children carefully and not to identify the children appearing in images; their names will not be used on our site. Any children appearing on our website do so with the written permission of their parents/guardians. In addition to this, we will never list a child's name alongside a photograph of that child, unless express permission has been given by the parent/guardian. If a child's work is featured on our site, they will be credited with their first name and class only (e.g. Phillip, class 4W). Where there are two or more children with the same name in a class, we will add the initial of their surname (e.g. Oliver T, class 4W). |
